Farouk outside FifteenYesterday Farouk (a friend of mine who works at Fifteen restaurant) invited me to a PodCast recording for Jamie Oliver's website. Three hours of free wine (this was, according to Jamie, to 'lube' us all up), watching Jamie cook (he is possibly the funniest person I've ever met !) and getting to taste all the food made was my idea of heaven ! There were only about 30 people there and it was an incredibly relaxed environment, however I think I was one of the few 'fans' as everyone seemed to know Jamie or worked in the restaurant. After the show, Farouk showed me around the Fifteen offices, staff room and then took me to dinner at the restaurant ! Definately one of, if not THE highlight of my time over here, I felt like I had won a competition or something !!! Thanks Farouk, you're the best !!!!! xx
