Fredericks for Champagne tasting
As part of my birthday pressie Angie wined and dined me - literally. It was off to a very posh restaurant (so posh we were too embarrased to take a pic of us inside the restaurant) for champagne tasting followed by a devine dinner. I like to think of myself as a pasta connossior and this was the BEST pasta i've ever tasted! And the most fantastic smoked tomato soup. Such a fun night then we went and took a stroll down Islington and looked at all the other great restaurants in the area. Check out the meringues in the picture ! They were huge and only £2 however we resisted....for now but may be back later to taste test them also. Was so much fun, and made even better that it made my birthday stretch out as it was two days beforehand...thanks ange!!!! xx
