Lake District - Bowness on Windermere
On the way to Glasgow we stopped off at Bowness on Windermere in the Lake District. This was the place I was most looking forward to seeing because of the amazing scenery of lakes, mountains, green hills and cobbled surrounding towns. It didn't disappoint and was just stunning. The Lake District is a huge area and as we were only passing through we picked the biggest town ' bowness on Windermere' to visit.
Spring has arrived, in Scotland there were Daffodils and baby lambs everywhere !
Picturesque English Countryside.
