Our stylish raincoat attireLast weekend Kelly, Jen and I eurostared to Brussels (with Jen filling us in on the goss of her new boyfriend possibly the whole 2.5 hours !) Non stop laughs and fun, we tried all the delicacies of Belgium; flavoured beer, waffles, frites and mayo, mussels, kebabs and of course handmade chocolates. We had plenty of time to relax and see all the sights of the city including Manequin Pis, Grand Place and an exhibition paying tribute to smurfs, Asterix, Tin Tin and other great comics. We found a great discotheque to dance the night away on saturday night (drinks v.expensive in Brussels, three drinks for 25 euro - £20 / $55 NZ).
An amazing girls weekend away, shame we missed the eurostar home but caught another one 45 minutes later and didn't have to pay for another ticket.
