Started the day off with a pancake brekkie (thanks Chris!!!) with all the toppings (strawberries, bananas, ice cream, whipped cream, maple syrup) while watching the all blacks game. Then we all met and (once we all were organised......) cruised along to the Jazz Festival at Ealing Broadway - it took about an hour on the tube to get there so it was quite an event! Once we were there we unpacked our ginormous food parcels and tucked into our food and drink. After quite a few hours everyone was a little tiddly (some more than others) and it started to rain. Luckily Ange only lived two tube stops away so we moved the party to her place, lost some people along the way but no worries. Went to the offy on the way to stock up then unpacked the leftovers and continued to eat and drink on the lawn. Philip bought out the 'bong' (I can't remember the proper name for it) and we smoked some hubbly - flavoured tobacco. Capaccino was the flavour of the night and everyone loved it but it still tasted a little like cigarettes to me but was fun all the same. Night was made very fun with trolley rides down on Philip and Anges 'bbq', phoebe's very funny speech and of course everyone enjoyed the hubbly. Thanks everyone for coming to my party and all the food/pressies/drink/company you brought. Thank you so much to everyone who sent parcels and cards from home; Mum, Nana, Chris, Teri, Rose, Mel, Lauren, Joy and Martin and thanks for the calls Caz and Steve.
