Easter break Road Trip

Geoff and I did a road trip from London to Scotland over the Easter break. We left work early on Thursday and went from Liverpool, to Lake District, Glasgow, Loch Lomond, St Andrews, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Grantham, Cambridge and back to London. We covered 1200 miles of English / Scotland roads and saw a lot starting with LIVERPOOL.........

Albert Dock - built between 1841 and 1848, one of the earliest enclosed Docks in the world. 2.5 hectares of water, the city's biggest tourist attraction (who knew, we thought it was very boring !!!)

Liverpool Stadium, Anfield Road. Unfortunately we had not booked a tour for the day so we missed out on seeing the grounds and club rooms so had to make do with the outside of stadium and the gift shop.
