ANZAC
The closest Saturday to Anzac day, we all went to Acton Town to watch the NZ vs Aussie sports teams. It was pretty cool, it felt like school sports athletics day but with beer. There were pies (which you cannot get over here, Geoff made the most of it and had 2), massive homemade hamburgers which were devine, Polynesian dancing (not sure how this was related) and great sport. Karl and Dan were in the NZ football team and Karl scored the first goal by 'heading' it into the goal - not sure what the proper term is. Great game guys and well done on the win ! Photos to come.

If you're after pies, there was a Aussie pie place in Shepards Bush, just as you get off the tube. Never went there but it might be good if you're missing them!
