We're engaged !!!

Geoff and I got engaged over the weekend on my birthday, in Hyde Park.
Sun was shining and there were bubbles and yummy picnic food to go with it. Here are some pics I took of the beautiful rose gardens in Hyde Park which I took as we were leaving.

Split, Croatia

Geoff and I have just got back from our sailing trip around Croatia. I took nearly 500 photos so here are just a sprinkle of them !!! We had an awesome group of people on our boat and met some great people.

Got this watermelon for .50p from markets. yummo !!

Most of the boat were kiwis and someone had this flag which we hoisted up and flew the entire trip!

This was the roof of the restaurant where we had dinner the first night. You could pick the grapes and eat them then try the wine made from this variety.

Small world !!! This is Tim and I with the 'Karaka Dubrovnik' boat we saw. Tim and I met on the boat and discovered we both grew up in Karaka, 5 minutes away from each other !!!

Miljet

Miljet was my favourite place. After the usual day of swimming, relaxing in the sun, playing cards and reading (a hard life !), we celebrated Lindsey's 26th birthday with dinner and cocktails while watching the sunset. I think it was the prettiest sunset we saw on our trip.

Our waitor on the boat and deckhand caught this octopus in less than 30 seconds with a small fishline wire, very impressive. Needless to say, I didn't order squid for dinner !
