Rochie with Ollie

We all went to Karaka school last weekend to support our cousin Rochelle at Ag day. She did really well and won 2nd for calling. Well done Roch !!!

Mum feeding Ollie
We have been looking after Ollie (my cousin Rochelle's lamb) while she is away on holiday. She is so cute, except when she escapes from the paddock and gets into Mum's garden !
Catching up

Last week we had dinner at Anna and Paul's house (Geoff's cousin) and caught up with some of Geoff's family, so great to see everyone. We got to meet Chanelle, who was born while we were away (and so so cute) and Logan who is so grown up and friendly. Above is Logan reading me a story.

Home sweet Home

After a 14 hour trip and a spot of duty free shopping, we finally made it back to Auckland. We were greeted with all our family and a lovely sign (above) that Rochie made especially. Phoebes the above photo is for you - thanks for the cool eye mask. x
Hawaii - Waikiki

We watched the sunset on our last night of our big overseas adventure. This was followed by dinner and of course cocktails and more beer.

Our traditional Hawaiian lunch, I had a mai tai, and laulau (pork and butterfish wrapped in taro leaves with rice).

Above: us overlooking Turtle Bay which is a Marine Wildlife conservation beach which has amazing snorkelling.

Me on Bonsai Pipeline beach

Above: Our usual dinners on the balcony of our apartment at sunset.

Above: The most beautiful beach where we spent a whole day chilling out. It was about an hour drive from Waikiki (go the jeep !) although we were running into the water frequently to avoid the constant but suprising rain showers.

The Mexican Markets

Us infront of the Hollywood sign, unfortunatley the lady who took the picture didn't do a very good job. If you look carefully, you can see the end of the Hollywood sign to the top right of my hat.

Kodak Theatre where all the Grammy Awards are held.

The hotel where PRETTY WOMAN was filmed. Our claim to fame - we used their restroom.

After spending the morning shopping, we had to stop off at West Coast Choppers for Geoff. Here are some of the photos he took.
